Brigette Roberts, M.D.

Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Board Member

Dr. Brigette Roberts is a Board Member and the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Quince Therapeutics. Prior to joining Quince, she was Chief Executive Officer and served on the Board of Directors of Orphai Therapeutics.

As CEO of Orphai Therpaeutics, Dr. Roberts built a differentiated pulmonary franchise centered on LAM‑001, an inhaled formulation of rapamycin for pulmonary vascular and fibrotic lung diseases. Under her leadership, Orphai initiated two Phase 2 studies of LAM‑001 and advanced the program as a potential disease‑modifying therapy in pulmonary diseases of high unmet need. She also oversaw the company’s broader development and secured U.S. and EU orphan drug designations for LAM-001 across multiple indications. Since May 2021, she helped secure more than $45 million in new private investment and led the 2023 rebranding from AI Therapeutics to Orphai Therapeutics to reflect a sharpened orphan‑disease focus and multi‑asset strategy.

Before joining Orphai, Dr. Roberts spent 15 years as a healthcare investor and portfolio manager at Third Point, CDP Capital, Angel Lane Principal Strategies, and DKR Capital, and founded the long/short healthcare fund YYC Capital. Her activist work included a board seat at Ligand Pharmaceuticals. Her investing success earned her recognition in Fortune’s “40 Under 40: Ones to Watch” list and in Business Insider for running a top‑performing fund while still in her thirties.

Dr. Roberts earned her B.A. in Physics & Chemistry from Harvard and her M.D. from New York University. She brings a combination of rigorous scientific training, public‑markets expertise, and operational leadership to her role at Quince Therapeutics, with a focus on advancing disease‑modifying therapies and building long‑term value for patients and stakeholders.
